GROUP 1
This group’s presentation was about immigration policies and healthcare access. They talked about how important it is to know the laws, support fair reforms, and help immigrants and communities in need. They also discussed whether healthcare should be given to everyone, no matter their legal status. I learned how policies can affect people’s lives and why fairness and compassion matter in public decisions. From this presentation, I learned how ethics and laws connect, especially when it comes to immigration and healthcare. I now understand why healthcare is seen as a basic human right. I liked when one member talked about organ donation — it was something new to me and very interesting. The group worked well overall, even though one person arrived late. I liked that one speaker was confident and spoke clearly without relying too much on his notes. This presentation taught me the importance of teamwork, preparation, and communication in making a message clear and meaningful. The group worked well overall. One member spoke very confidently and kept good eye contact with the audience, which made his part easy to follow and interesting. I appreciated that even though one person arrived late, everyone else stayed calm and continued presenting professionally. Each member added something unique to the project, and together they created a presentation that was organized, educational, and inspiring. I learned that preparation, teamwork, and communication are the keys to delivering a strong presentation.
Group 3 also talked about immigration policies, but they focused more on how those policies affect families, healthcare access, and opportunities for a better life. They did a great job explaining how immigrants face challenges like language barriers, lack of documentation, and limited access to healthcare. I learned that these issues are not only political but also emotional and personal because they directly affect people’s daily lives. What I really liked about this presentation was how they connected real-life experiences to their topic. One of the members interviewed a TSA worker who talked about how difficult traveling can be for immigrants due to strict documentation requirements. Hearing about that experience made the topic more realistic and gave me a better understanding of how complex the immigration system is. Another member talked about her own family’s experience with immigration, and it made the presentation more emotional and relatable. The group also had a well-organized PowerPoint and creative brochures that helped explain their main points clearly. I could tell that each member put time and effort into their work. They all had different speaking styles, but they balanced each other well. This presentation taught me not only about immigration and policy but also about the importance of communication, teamwork, and empathy when discussing serious social topics. It reminded me that behind every policy or law, there are real people affected by it, and that awareness is the first step toward understanding and change.
My group’s presentation was a very positive and meaningful experience for me. I felt that we worked hard to prepare and make sure our information was clear, accurate, and engaging. Everyone in my group contributed ideas and research, and we supported each other throughout the process. I really liked how we worked together to design our PowerPoint and brochures, and even coordinated what we would wear to look unified. These small details made our group feel organised and professional. During our preparation, we helped one another practice speaking, fix our slides, and make sure everyone was confident about their part. I appreciated how my teammates encouraged me and gave helpful feedback. This teamwork made our presentation feel more connected and smooth. We also focused on current immigration issues that are happening today, which made our topic more relevant and meaningful. Overall, I feel like I did amazing I up cured my position in the this presentation and I was very prepared to present overall I learned so much about this presentation and I look forward to presenting many more presentations in the future.
