GROUP #1  Chapter 1-3,5

  Group 1’s PowerPoint was well organized and showed that they put in real effort into covering their assigned chapters. Each section flowed clearly, and they managed to break down key ideas into simple points that were easy to follow. Their attitude during the presentation came across as confident and respectful, with a focus on keeping the audience engaged and informed. I liked that they included examples, definitions, and even videos to make their points more interactive. Overall, they showed good teamwork, a positive attitude, and a strong grasp of the material, which made their presentation both informative and enjoyable to watch.


GROUP #2 Chapters 4,6,7,8

Group 2’s PowerPoint was detailed and well put together, showing that they took time to explain each chapter clearly. They organized their slides in a way that made it easy to follow, with good use of examples, definitions, and different types of evidence. Their overall attitude seemed professional and collaborative, as each member contributed to the flow of the presentation. I also liked that they covered practical strategies like research methods and speech organization, which made the information more useful. Overall, their effort, teamwork, and positive approach made the presentation engaging and informative. 

GROUP #3 Chapters 9,10,11,12

Group 3’s PowerPoint was very thorough and demonstrated a strong understanding of their assigned chapters. They broke down complex ideas, like language fundamentals and delivery techniques, into clear and practical points that were easy to follow. I liked how they included both definitions and real-life examples, which helped connect theory to practice. Their attitude came across as professional and enthusiastic, and the slides were well-organized without being overwhelming. Overall, their teamwork and positive energy made the presentation engaging, informative, and effective in showing how public speaking skills can be applied in real situations.

GROUP #4 Chapters 13-17
(My Group)  I would say my group's PowerPoint was very organized. We took our time to explain each slide clearly. We spoke with confidence and loud voices. We communicated very well throughout the whole process. In order to bring attention to our fellow classmates, we planned to dress color coordinated, and it worked out perfectly. We made sure, while presenting, that we broke down some words to make it easier for the class to understand. Overall, I believe my group did amazing. We had effective speaking skills, teamwork, communication, and super informative slides.

Chapter Presentation Review  Michelle de Deus SPC2608 9:50am Professor Sinkoff Group #1- Chapters 1-3,5 I think Group #1 did a great job with the information of their chapters. I thought the presentation was very well organized and nice to look at. In their presentation, I learned how to adapt to an audience. The group's speakers were able to keep my attention and speak cohesively. A few things I would have personally done differently, I would have shortened the information on the slides. I found them to be a bit too wordy as well as almost distracting. Reading off the slides is what most people are typically used to so it's not all that bad, but that is something else I would mention that needs to be improved. Having confidence while presenting is also an important factor, it’s easy and normal to get nervous. Swaying and speaking low are signs of this, completely normal.    Theme Project Review Emelin Solorzano SPC2608 9:50am Professor Sherri                                                             Group #1        Their group talked about different immigration issues that people face today. They explained how immigration policies affect families, travel, and access to opportunities. Some members focused on the challenges immigrants experience when coming to the United States, such as language barriers, documentation requirements, and adjusting to a completely new environment.
